KLASSZ Talents Gala Concert 2011

On 8 June in the Eötvös 10 Community and Cultural Centre, the KLASSZ Talent Program presents the latest five ”KLASSZ” talents to the audience. The young musicians will play Liszt, Mozart and other works, featuring Concerto Budapest. The presenter of the evening is Piroska Bakos.

The gala concert is the closing event of the KLASSZ Talent Program, which was organised for the third time in 2011. This year, Hungarofest KLASSZ Music Office and the Ministry of National Resources awarded five young music graduates with a scholarship to different schools. Balázs Alpár composer had the opportunity to study at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien (Vienna). Fruzsina László studied classical saxophone at the Conservatorio di Musica Giuseppe Nicolini in Piacenza, Gergely Madaras attended a conducting course at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchaster. Éva Móga chose a Baroque violin course at the Vienna Concervatory, while István Lajkó attended a piano course at the Juilliard School of Music in New York.

The musicians will present the result of their scholarship studies at the gala concert in Eötvös 10 on 8 June. Balázs Alpár’s Nalvorelda will open the evening, followed by works of Vilsmayr, Villa Lobos, Mozart and Liszt performed by the other four musicians and Concerto Budapest.
